According to sources, Infiniti will bring a concept carcalled Emerge-E to the upcoming motor show in Geneva. It will have a mid-engine setup and will depend on a electric drivetrain.
The car is expected to have an extended range performance for its electric engine plus the design lines of the Emerge-E might well represent the future path of styling for Infiniti.
The patent renderings of the Infiniti Emerge-E was leaked over the web and you will be seeing some familiar elements on the design. Those who know the Infiniti look will have that usual wave grille and prominent front fenders. So far, the lines have been the boldest among the creations of Infiniti be it for production and concept vehicles.
We do not know yet if the Emerge-E will be an all wheel drive or a rear wheel drive. There is still no information as to the range of this vehicle or its power output. The carmaker said that it is looking to build a halo car which is a possible direction or another route is to use the Nissan GT-R DNA.
Most likely Infiniti will make use of some of the details for the Emerge-E heading to Geneva but we do not know if it will go beyond the concept phase. We will keep you updated we are pretty sure Infiniti will release more details about this concept prior to its unveiling.
